Hello February!! So the month of love is here..Love is all in the air..And I wish, we all can enjoy the happiness of love always in our life..
So here is the first post of the month, an aromatic Rose tea ..What else you need to start the most romantic day of the year ??Rose Flowers are so close to everyone’s heart..The flower using which you can express your love for someone.. Don’t you remember the first Rose your valentine gifted you??
I am pretty sure that the aroma and sweetness of the tea will bring a special smile in your Valentines’ face..The refreshing tea will definitely make you both pleasant and happy..
And if you want more sweet romantic recipes to celebrate the day, here is a recipe round up of Valentines Day Recipes..
Let me tell you how I got the idea of this Rose tea.Few days back we visited Souq Waqif ( I hope you know that I am residing at Doha, Qatar). And as usual me and my daughter was taking a tour at the souq, while my husband was busy clicking the pictures of the mesmerizing Souq. Suddenly I saw the big big sacks filled with dry rose flowers.. I was looking for these tiny cute flowers from ages..And finally I got hold of it from the souq.. And my dream of Rose tea came true!
So here is the recipe of the Aromatic Rose Tea..
- Dry Rose- handful
- Cinnamon-1 big stick
- Water-2.5 cups
- Sugar-2.5 spoons
- Tea powder-1.5 spoon ( or as per taste )
( NOTES: you can add more or less ingredients as per your taste, especially sugar and tea powder )
How to make:
1) first heat the sauce pan with water And once it is about to boil add sugar ,cinnamon stick which is broken to pieces and crushed cardamom.. Let it boil..
2)now to the boiling water add the rose buds. And now you can get the aroma of rose..let it boil for 4-5 minutes..
3)Now take out the rose buds and cinnamon stick from the boiling water and transfer it to the tea pot. Now in the boiling water, only crushed cardamom would be left..
4)To this add the tea powder and let it boil for few minutes till you get your kind of tea. I tried to keep it medium strong as I don’t want the flavor of tea to suppress the rose flavor..
5)Now off the flame. And pour the tea into the teapot using a strainer. And close the teapot using the lid as soon as possible.
So our aromatic romantic rose tea is ready..As the rose flowers and cinnamon sticks are still sunk in the tea, the aroma and flavor will be really good.
