Mini Pot Shrimp Lasagna:
Lasagna is my family’s favorite dish!! We prefer to eat this awesome Italian cuisine as our dinner during weekend at least once in 2 months and normally I used to make Lasagna with a layer of Chicken and another layer of veggie filling in big baking trays.. And the recipe of this Indo-Italian Lasagna has been already posted soon after starting this blog(click the link to get that recipe )!!
And once I made my Indo-Italian Veg and mushroom Lasagna to a potluck party at my work place.. All my friends over there loved it.. And that time I made it creamy with rich bechamel sauce..
Today here I am posting a quick mini pot lasagna recipe with some easy tips, but without compromising the taste with SHRIMP???!!so my first seafood lasagna is here..
So here is the recipe:
Shrimp- 500 gms
Lasagna sheets- 1/2 the packet( cooked in water with olive oil & water)
Tomato paste-1 packet
Italian seasoning – 1/2 teaspoon
Mozzarella cheese-250 gms or more (shredded)
Olive oil- as per needed
Bell peppers( red, yellow, red)-1/4( finely chopped)
Onion-2 ( finely chopped)
Ginger-1/2 inch pc ( finely chopped)
Garlic-4 cloves ( finely chopped )
For marinating Shrimp:
Karahi masala powder- 1 spoon
Garam Masala powder-1/4 teaspoon
Red chilly powder-1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon
Coriander powder-1/2 spoon
Salt-as per needed
How to make:
1) first of mix all the above ingredients for marinade and make a smooth paste.Marinate this to the prawns and keep it aside for at least half an hour..
2)In a bowl empty the tomato paste and add Italian seasoning, rosemary and some water to this .. Make it to a sauce kind of consistency!! So our easy Lasagna red sauce is done..
3)now heat a pan and add some olive oil..when it’s hot enough, shallow fry the marinated shrimps..once it is done, remove the shrimp from flame and keep it aside.chop it finely when it’s cool( NB: don’t off the flame!!)
4)add onion & chopped ginger-garlic in the same pan to that oil, stir it well along with some salt..cook for few minutes till the onion becomes transparent..
5)now add the bell peppers and mix well.. And cook for 4-5 mins more..
6)now add the sauce to the pan and cook for some time.. And add the final ingredient-chopped shrimps.. Mix well all the ingredients..
7)if needed add more spices and salt..and off the flame after 2 mins..
8)now let’s start the final layering process.. Take the pots in which we want to bake Lasagna and using a brush cost it with olive oil.. Place the lasagna sheets as shown in the image..
9)add the first layer of shrimp and sprinkle a handful of shredded cheese all over it.. Then cover it another layer of lasagna sheets.. Then continue the process till it reaches top!!
In my pots there were 3 -4 layers of prawns filling and sheets ..
10) then finish off the final layer with a generous layer of cheese??!! And bake the pots at 360 degrees for 8-10 mins ..!!
Yummy quick lasagna is done!! Even if Bechamel sauce was not there,still the lasagna was cheesy and moist??!!
