Minced Lamb kebab curry in tomato paste:
Last weekend we tried some yummy Arabic kebabs from a famous restaurant in Doha( Qatar).. They served us a mixed platter with all their signature Kebabs ..we managed to eat everything other than Lamb kebabs??!!
Took the left Lamb Kebabs home thinking I could make some yummy curry out of it..?!! Yeah.. I wanted to enjoy the weekend to the fullest without spending much time in the kitchen..so these left over kebabs helped me to serve my family a yummy curry for next day supper without much effort ? along with frozen Paratas!!
I always love to be innovative with some leftover food the other day..it gives me a satisfaction that I’m not wasting food anymore (yayyyyyy)!!
So here’s a yummy minced lamb kebab masala recipe..you can replace lamb kebab with anything you got in the refrigerator ?!!
Minced Lamb Kebabs-out of 6-8 medium pcs
Green Bell pepper -1 ( chopped )
Ginger-Garlic paste-1 1/2 spoon
Cumin seeds-1/2 teaspoon
Oil-1 1/2 spoon
Chilly powder-1/2 spoon
Turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder-1 spoon
Karahi masala powder-1/2 spoon
Garam masala powder-1/4 teaspoon
Tomato paste-2 spoon
Salt-as per needed
How to make:
1)heat the pot and pour oil and splutter cumin seeds.. And add tomatoes along with salt..cook for few minutes with lid closed.
2)now add all the spice powders,tomato paste and ginger garlic paste to this and stir well and cook for 5 mins with lid closed on medium flame..
3)now add the bell peppers and cook again.. Check the spices and add more if needed..
4)when the bell pepper becomes soft add the minced meat and stir well.. Cook with lid closed for 8-10 mins on low flame.. Keep on stirring in between..
So easy , yummy lamb Masala is done without much effort.. Serve hot and njoy the thick masala in rich tomato gravy..
It will go with any kind of bread or rice..
