Cupcakes With Butter Cream Frosting

So yesterday night one of my biggest dream was fulfilled?!! ” To Bake A CUPCAKE??”!! Yeah, you heard it right.. It was MY DREAM❤️❤️!!

And now I could also celebrate our special days with homemade cupcakes & cakes.. I always used to envy those who are experts in baking, especially cupcakes..and finally I did it on my hubby’s birthday?!!

As it was my first time, I was pretty unsure about the measurements and all.. So I searched a lot of recipes in the Internet and ended upon a good easy basic recipe for the cupcake by ” Eugine Kitchen”!! Do check her yummy youtube videos?..
And made the measurements and ingredients according to my need!!

i am taking this to Angie’s party:-)

Here’s the recipe:

For Cupcake:

  • Egg-3
  • Butter-200 gm
  • Milk-200 ml
  • Vanilla extract-1 teaspoon
  • Red colour-1/2 teaspoon( optional )
  • Self raising flour-1 1/2 cup
  • Baking Powder-1 +1/2  spoon
  • All Purpose Flour-1 cup
  • Sugar-250 gm( granulated )
  • Salt-1/2 teaspoon

For Butter cream Frosting:

  • Butter-250 gm
  • Icing sugar-1 cup

How to make:

1)first let’s prepare the cupcakes..keep all your ingredients ready!! Mix all the dry ingredients except sugar together after sifting ..

2)now in a mixing bowl( I found myself missing a good one?, feeling determined to buy a good one), beat the butter for whole 5-8 minutes gently.. Later when the butter becomes soft ,add sugar and beat again for 5-6 mins..

3)now to this start adding eggs one by one and keep beating!! Beat at high for few mins till you get a smooth mixture!!

4)now add the vanilla extract and let’s start adding the dry ingredients and milk in batches alternatively!!keep beating..

(As my hands were too buttery, I couldn’t click all the steps,SORRY?)

5)beat till you get the smooth cake batter consistency!! And then add the color and mix well with a spatula..

6)now let’s make our cupcake tray ready with the liners for baking..

7)fill the liners with 1 full scoop of cake mixture and bake for 12-15 minutes in a preheated oven..( do check them after 10 mins in order to avoid burning or over cooking and check with a tooth pick)!!

8)when the cupcakes are done take them out of the oven and place it on a grill at room temperature!! Let it cool..

9)now let’s start preparing the butter frosting..beat the butter till smooth in a mixer for 5 mins..

10)now add the icing similar and blend again till you get the desired consistency..

11)add the vanilla extract and milk as well and continue beating!!

Stop beating when you got the thick fluffy butter frosting!!??

I couldn’t stop myself from eating them?!! It was soooo yummmmmm..

12)now fill the frosting into the icing cone and let’s start decorating the cupcakes..( the part I enjoyed the most in the whole process?)!!

I am not that satisfied with the decor.. Still I loved it as its my first time!!looking forward to improve ..

Also added some sugar butterflies for more prettiness!!

And thus we celebrated my hubby’s birthday with these yummy cute cupcakes!! He loved it❤️❤️!!

I hope you all will love it..
