The cashew paste added more taste & richness to the recipe..
taking this yummy curry to Miz Helen’s Full Plate Thursday
here’s the recipe:
Lamb chops-1 pack( of 8pcs )
onion-3 ( sliced )
tomato-3( sliced )
ginger-1 big pc( pasted )
Garlic-7-10 cloves( pasted )
turmeric powder-2 teaspoon
chilly powder-3 teaspoon
coriander powder-3 spoon
garam masala powder-1 spoon
pepper powder-1 1/2 spoon
cilantro leaves-a small bunch
Cashew-1/2 cup( soaked in water)
fenugreek seeds-a pinch
How to make:
1)firstly lets cook lambchops in a pressure cooker along with half of all the dry ingredients and salt .. ( it took 6 whistles for me)
keep that stock for further use..
2)now heat a wok, splutter fenugreek seeds in oil and add onion along with salt..saute well for more than 5 mins..
3)now add G & G paste and the left masala powders to it..cook well along with the lamb stock..
4)now add the tomatoes and cook well..
5)add the cooked lamb chops and mix well along with the curry!!
6)Later add the cashew paste( cashew pasted along with the soaked water ) and cilantro leaves..the onion and tomato should pasted well without much lumps..
so our yummy thick Lamb chops curry is done!!
I served it along with a green salad with lot of leaves ,pita bread and a boiled egg!!
it was so nice and everyone loved the supper..
