Grilled Chicken Panini With Pasta Sauce:

This is the second time I am posting a Panini recipe.. last time it was Spicy Grilled Eggplant Panini”..

Today for supper Grilled Chicken was the Star!! Did 2 entirely different dishes with Grilled chicken..I always try to minimise daily working load? and at the same time tries to serve different dishes with same filling or key Ingredient?..


if you are a regular reader of my posts,would understand.. I have posted 1 filling,2 recipes” 2 times here’s another one of that kind…

Friends,try this idea of “1 filling 2 recipes and bring a smile to your family’s face when you serve them varieties?..


here’s the recipe of Grilled Chicken Panini With Pasta Sauce:


For Marinating Chicken:


Medium peri peri sauce-2 spoon

Garlic-6-8 cloves ( crushed )

Honey-1 spoon

lemon juice-of 1 lemon

Salt-as per taste

black pepper powder-1 spoon

chicken breast pc-3 for panini

For Panini:


Pasta sauce-2 spoon for each panini( could use ready made sauce or homemade)

Note:Recipe of homemade pasta sauce is given in my previous post of Tortilla Pizza

bread -2 slices for each panini

cucumber-1/2(thinly sliced)

Mozzarella cheese-1/2 cup( grated)( use more if wanted, as we are on weight reduction i used less?)

How to make:

1)first of all let’s prepare the grilled chicken..Mix all the above listed ingredients together and marinate chicken with it..

2)keep this marinated for half an hour ..

3)now grill chicken in a grilling pan along with few drops of olive oil spreaded on it..





4)thinly slice the grilled chicken pcs..


5)now lets start preparing panini..spread sauce on 2 bread slices..

6)sprinkle cheese on 1 slice.. Place the cucumber slices over it followed by chicken slices..

7)now sprinkle some more cheese over and finish it off with the other slice of bread..

8)press well and place it on a grilling pan at medium heat till golden.. Flip it and press well..


Panini is done!! The melted cheese is heaven?…


Cut it diagonally and serve hot..this is very apt for lunch box or brrakfast as well..
