Red Spinach-Chicken Patties!!
Today for Ifthar my preparation was a healthy version of Patties?!!patties with red spinach and Chicken along with potato & carrot..it tasted so good??!!
The plate was emptied within few minutes and I got just one?!!but still I am so happy that my family loved it??..
It was super delicious, my first attempt with red spinach?!!for vegans, you could avoid the chicken from the recipe!!
Red spinach- a bunch( sliced thin)
Potato-2 ( boiled with salt)
Carrot- 1 (boiled with salt)
Onion-1 ( finely chopped )
G&G paste-1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon
Pepper powder-1/2 teaspoon
Oil-1 spoon for sauting & 3 spoon for shallow frying
Egg white-of 1 egg
Bread crumbs-as per needed
Chicken Boneless breast-1 pc( boiled and minced )
How to make:
1)first heat the pot.. Add oil and then add the onions along with G&G paste and spices..cook it for few seconds ..
2)now add the spinach and salt.. Cook for nearly 3-4 mins and off the flame.
3)now mash the potatoes and carrot.. Add the spinach and minced chicken..mix all together..
4)now make them to equal sized balls and flatten ..
5)dip the patties in egg white and then on bread crumbs..
6) now heat the pan and add oil..shallow fry the patties till they become crispy golden brown..
7)take it out and place on tissue,so that excess oil get removed..
Try to eat it hot and enjoy the healthy yummy patties.. If you wish, could also make burger out of this ..
The golden brown colour with red inside looks awesome…
