Arabic Chicken Machboos:
Since last 3 days I was really busy ..?!! that’s why couldn’t post new recipes..So today Im posting something very yummy and quick in order to meet the absence..
Arabic cuisine is really rich with its flavors and at the same time simple too..so here’s the recipe of much boos? which is a popular Arabic food..I learnt this recipe from my Dad who spent half his age in the Middle East..
and here comes my first recipe to the Fiesta Friday party..Im super excited.. Actually im a bit unsure about the rules and all..still I am ready for the party????..
Onion-2 medium sized( sliced thin )
Tomato-2 (sliced thin )
Tomato paste- 1/2 the packet
Garlic- 5-6 cloves ( crushed )
Ginger-1 big pc ( crushed )
Whole garam masala-bay leaves, cardamom, cinnamon,cloves,fennel seeds, pepper ( as per taste , I used 1/2 a handful)
Dried lemon- 1 ( cut to half ) this the key ingredient!!!
Curry leaves-1 small bunch
cilantro leaves- a small bunch
ghee-4 big spoons
Green chilly – 2 big (without cutting as whole ), 1( a cut made on a side )
coriander powder-2 spoon
black pepper powder-1 spoon
turmeric powder-1/4 spoon
Chicken -1 ( cut to big pcs )
rice -2 cups ( i used jeerakashala rice )
water- 4 cups
How to make :
1)first heat the cooking vaessel..add 2 spoon ghee..add the whole garam masala and saute well..
2)later add the onions and some purchase tramadol for dogs salt..Soon add the tomato paste and saute for 5-6 mins.. The flavor of tomato paste should go well with the ghee and onion..
3)now add the masala powders and leaves..mix well..
4)now add the chicken pcs and just cook it in this ghee and masala mixture for 5-6 mins.. So that it would become slightly fried And brown..
5)now add the tomatoes and cook well with the lid closed..let all the ingredients cook together well..
6)add some water if it becomes too dry..cook well..now squeeze a full lemon to this and blend all together..add tge main ingredient ,the dried lemon too..
7)now lets add the water to it..let it boil well..soon add the washed rice ..cook with lid closed..in high flame..
8)when the water is evapurated to 3/4 stir all the things well and add rest of the ghee, cilantro leaves all above ..
9)now close with the lid firmly with some heavy object above if needed and cook for nearly 10 mins..
the Arabic Chicken Macboos is ready..!!
Have it with salad and add more lemon juice while eating..!! The sourness of lemon and the rich spicy flavors is really great.today we all really njoyed our friday Lunch ??!!
